Creative Separations

One of the biggest parts of interior design is the actual space planning. Open concepts are extremely desired now, which makes the space feel larger. When you need to have a division of spaces, there are so many creative ways to do so. Separating spaces is smart, for noise and task-oriented reasons, but can be aesthetic as well.  Here are a few examples of some creative, funky dividers that are functional as well as double as a main design feature.

  1. These are fabulous examples of how traditional/cookie cutter spaces become WOW destination points. It doesn't take a lot to make a big impression. It is hard to convince a client that it is OK to splurge on one funky/trendy 'Separation Piece' - it is easy to change out with the next big thing - making the whole space completely new again.

    Thanks for the inspirations!!

  2. Those are some really great solutions to dividing spaces. I used one similar on one of my projects but it was also cool that it showed how to incorporate them into a residential setting.

  3. Emily I love these. As a designer it can be hard to imagine how to divide up a space, and these are some creative solutions. The space still feels open, but you are able to get more function when you add these partitions. Love Love
